About
I'm Phillip Byram, a developer who likes building software that stays fast, readable, and easy to run. Most of my work sits somewhere between product engineering, internal tooling, and automation, with a bias toward clear interfaces and systems that do one job well.
What I'm working on
Right now that includes this Astro site, Todoer, and Ralph. Those projects let me explore web application architecture, developer workflows, and AI-assisted tooling without adding unnecessary operational weight.
I use the blog to write about the pieces worth keeping: implementation details, tradeoffs, and the small decisions that make software easier to maintain over time.
Stack & tools
- TypeScript for most application and tooling work
- Astro, Tailwind CSS, and MDX for content-focused web projects
- Bun, GitHub Actions, and cloud integrations when I need automation or delivery pipelines
